Ownership of Czech Property by Foreigners
Q: Can a foreigner buy real property in Prague?
A: Directly No, but….
... a foreigner can set up a Czech limited liability company called an S.R.O and
be the 100% shareholder, and that S.R.O can buy the property. It’s safe and
simple with the assistance of a lawyer.

The cost ranges between GBP 1,200 up to GBP 3,000 depending on your own
resources available when you first incorporate (i.e. ability to provide
"official address" at the time of incorporation, etc.). We suggest shopping
around, but be wary of lawyers and service providers that quote the basic cost
of setting up a company but fail to mention other costs such as visa, address
changes, etc.)
Further recent legislation has developed a vehicle for a foreign company to
purchase property in the Czech Republic. The foreign company must merely first
establish a branch office in the Czech Republic.
