As a foreign citizen you can get a mortgage for buying real property in Czech Republic. You should probably expect to put down about 30 % depending on various factors. Probably the most convenient, cost effective and stress free way to arrange a mortgage is through a mortgage broker. We have found the services of some local brokers to be extremely useful and we have relationships established with some leading brokers.  There are several banks that have recently created vehicles for financing the purchase of real estate for foreigners.
